Yoga, mindfulness and meditation have changed my life. It helped to heal my childhood and adult traumas. Through these practices I have learned to love myself. My goal is to help others find that space to heal also.
I found yoga while dealing with some health issues and surgery in 2017. Yoga and meditation was the one thing I found to calm the increased anxiety I was feeling in my body. In 2019 I decided to take my yoga teacher training to expand my knowledge, never with the intention to teach. Then I fell in love the more I learned. At the beginning of 2020 I left my career after 18 years. Covid-19 made a little detour in my path but at the end of summer 2021, I quit my full time job to start my yoga and healing business.
I am married to my best friend and partner. He has been my biggest fan. Along with some amazing friends. I raised 2 boys both grown up and moved on and I have a beautiful granddaughter. We are also blessed with 2 fur babies. I identify as LGBTQ. And want all to feel comfortable and have a safe container to learn in. I worked 18 years as an account manager for a large beverage company and decided the fast paced environment was no longer for me. That was in 2020 as Covid-19 was hitting. I took a year and a half long detour before deciding to move forward with my dreams in the summer of 2021.
I am a certified RYT200 yoga instructor with trauma informed training registered with Yoga Alliance. I attended Mindful School of Yoga in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2019. I proceeded 3 years later in the summer of 2021 with Shamama Breathwork facilitator training, Reiki RMT, Mindfulness coaching, Prenatal yoga and CPR/AED certification through The American Health and Safety Institute. I am always a student, on the path for knowledge to help raise the universal consciousness.
